Inositol is a chemical compound whose classification is not yet clear. Some authors consider it as just one more vitamin of B vitamins, however other people support it is simply a polyol. The main inositol sources are viscera, legumes, and some fruit and nuts. Among its functions, it contributes in PCOS treatment (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), it's a powerful antidiabetic agent, as it can be taken in combination with sweeteners like stevia, and it can even reduce anxiety.
